An adorable movie, Space Jam was released in 1996 by Warner brothers and is considered one of the biggest blockbusters of animation and live character movies. It featured the famed Michael Jordan, the NBA star, a series of Looney Tunes characters and the main lead starring Bugs Bunny. Lola Bunny was introduced as the love interest of Bugs Bunny. It earned revenue of over $300 million and captured the heart of all ages.

The movie revolves around alien forces and the Looney Tunes team. The main grey character, Mr. Swackhammer is the owner of an alien theme park and his alien forces are better known as Nerducks, who are dispatched to bring on the whole team of Looney Tunes back to the theme park as attractions to earn more as his business is failing. The different characters of Looney Tunes live below the surface and challenge the team of alien to a game of basketball to save their own selves.

The main reason for challenging the Nerducks to a basketball game was that the aliens were short and Tunes wanted to capitalize on that. The Looney Tunes get helpless as the NBA stars powers are stolen - Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkely, Larry Bird and others by the villainous acts of the Nerduks. This turns them into 'monstars'!

The blend of fantasy and technology comes into play as the Tunes stars get Michael Jordon to help them win as most of the NBA players are unable to do so. But the Nerducks play ruthlessly and eliminate all but Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny and Michael Jordan.

In the movie, Michael Jordan is a baseball player with an extendable arm that ultimately gets the Tunes their winning goal. When the last phase of action starts, Bill Murray enters to join the team as he wants to be a basketball player and helps the Tunes. Finally, they manage to fight off the alien Nerducks and the villainous Mr. Swackhammer and win the game.

The movie is pure entertainment and has some wacky special effects especially with Michael Jordon. The complete movie has been able to blend the live actors with animated cartoon characters. From Jordan Space Jam shoes to tiny figures of the Looney Tune characters became instant hit with the kids and adults alike. The movie was a global hit and rake din more than $330 millions and a plethora of movie memorabilia was sold.
